Help with Food - autumn/winter 2022

Here are some links to websites where you can find more information on help with food this autumn/winter, especially for anyone finding it difficult to afford food.

Cornwall Council, Help with Food:  https://letstalk.cornwall.gov.uk/help-with-food

The 'help with food' page has a link to a map showing the locations of food support groups operating across Cornwall.

Falmouth Food Coop: https://falmouthfood.coop/kitchen/meal-deliveries

For up to date information on the work of the Falmouth Food Coop, contact [email protected]

Falmouth Food Coop started as a Food Hub selling groceries with the aim of making good food available to all and supporting local non-industrial farmers. They then started a kitchen to celebrate the local community and feed those who need help.

Soul Farm - veg box membership, based in Flushing: https://www.soulfarm.co.uk/veg-box-membership/

Soul Farm has a veg box membership scheme with food boxes for all.  The cost of a veg box is based on a sliding scale - choose your income level and pay according to what you earn. See their website for full details.   Those on higher incomes pay a little more, and this helps to offer veg boxes at lower cost for households on low incomes.
